The continuous increase of hacking attacks, data breaches, and pressure of compliance regulations, combined with severe workforce shortage, calls for proactive and fully automated defense solutions being able to act timely and even stay ahead of hackers.

CognitiveIC is developing a fully automated offensive security platform (COSP) which continuously monitors the system and acts timely to prevent data breaches while ensuring the compliance with legal obligations. Using COSP does not require heavy cyber security expertise and it enables efficient and cost effective Risk Assessments.

Hardware Security

The number and variety of attacks are on the rise and nothing is able to stop it. Every month, there are critical cybersecurity incidents causing rising damages and even risking the lives of innocent people. The existing solutions are neither able to deal with attack diversity nor with the drastic increase of number of attacks. If no adequate solutions are found, the “security gap” between successful attacks and countermeasures will grow further.

CognitiveIC focuses on developing unique solutions to enable true end-to-end security starting from the hardware. Our solutions will protect you and your IPs by using cognitive Built-in Self Protect modules. These modules will be customized per IP. Dedicated protocols will be used to enable seaming less secure communication and collaboration. We will also provide complete secure integrated circuit solutions as soft IPs.

Memory Testing

Various semiconductor companies and manufacturing vendors make tremendous efforts to push advanced memory technologies (e.g., FinFET at below 10nm) and emerging memory technologies (such as STT-MRAM, RRAM, and PCM) to the market/ commercialization. Testing is the last chance to check and guarantee the required quality and reliability of the outgoing manufactured memory devices.

CognitiveIC has demonstrated, in collaboration with its partners and based on memory test chips, that the semiconductor industry cannot rely on existing solutions to achieve high quality product quality. Our solutions are based on Device-Aware-TestTM that closes the gap between the real defect mechanism and the way they are traditionally modeled at the electrical level. Hence, resulting in efficient and optimal test solutions that does not only reduce the escapes, but also enable fast diagnosis and fast yield learning.
